Carrying the theme “Multigrade Learning in Basic Education: Opportunities and Challenges”, this educational discussion forum presents national and regional perspectives by presenting speakers, namely teachers and education staff in East Java Province (Probolingo ), Probolinggo Regent, East Sumba Deputy Regent, Director Development of Primary Teachers, Directorate General of GTK of Ministry of Education and Culture, as well as representatives of TASS program and INOVASI.
Through the INOVASI program, the governments of Indonesia and Australia have established partnerships to better understand and overcome the challenges of learning in the early classes of basic education, especially those related to student literacy and numeracy skills. One effort to overcome the educational challenges that INOVASI continues to explore is the model of multigrade teaching.
