INOVASI commenced an Education Innovations Mapping Stocktake Study in East Java in 2017, with the aim to document teaching innovations and promising practices in basic education. The study also sought to understand in what contexts innovations were successful and sustainable, and the ways in which they provide alternative options for districts and cities in East Java to adopt, adapt and improve learning outcomes. This Promising Practices Booklet details the top six innovations from Phase One of the Stocktake Study.
