This booklet contains valuable experiences presented by the Guru BAIK pilot program, in Southwest Sumba district. Good practices in this booklet. Through the Guru BAIK initiative, educators in Southwest Sumba succeeded in changing the limitations and simplicity of their school environment into a means of strengthening idealism and consistency in teaching motivation. By utilizing limited resources, they developed creative learning practices that were able to improve their students’ reading and numeracy skills.
