The Innovation for Indonesia’s School Children (INOVASI) program is a partnership between the Government of Australia and the Government of Indonesia. The program is funded by the Australian Government through the Department of Foreign Affairs and Trade (DFAT) and implemented by Palladium.

INOVASI works with the Ministry of Primary and Secondary Education, the Ministry of Religious Affairs, and the Ministry of National Development Planning/National Development Planning Agency (Bappenas). Having entered Phase 3 on 1 January 2024, INOVASI continues its efforts to improve learning outcomes and foundational skills for all primary school students in Indonesia, including children with disabilities.

The INOVASI Six-Monthly Progress Report for July–December 2025 presents the program’s progress towards its intermediate and end-of-program outcomes, as well as the implementation of the second annual work plan and budget. The report also reviews developments in national education policy, INOVASI’s support for the implementation of the national curriculum, Deep Learning (Pembelajaran Mendalam) and the Love-Based Curriculum (Kurikulum Berbasis Cinta), and the strengthening of partnerships with national and subnational governments.

Beyond program achievements, the report discusses factors that have influenced implementation progress, including the continuity of the education reform agenda, growing trust and engagement from partners, and stronger support for inclusive learning practices in schools and madrasah.
